Football match of the year: Uganda versus Holland.....

Today we had a very exciting football match in Amun compound,

People had trained and were very ready for the the game. 

For Uganda played: Walter, Emmanuel, Peter, Helen, Elias, Josh, Cathy, Peace and Esther.

For Holland played: Marianne, Bernard, Maaike, Anja, Rachelle and Eline. Holland had less players, but were more in age, so we felt it is okay. Later (when things did not go so well for Holland) Uganda gave one excellent player to help Holland: Beatrice.

 The game started and in a high speed the ball begun to roll! People kicked and ran, they sweat  and fell.

 Sometimes it was a (wo)man to (wo)man battle for the ball.....

 But it was soon clear which team was the strongest, the extra in years, didn't help Holland, Uganda started to score 1, 2, 3, 4 ............ The Dutch players don't know what to do anymore,

Okay, Holland did score some goals, but it was Uganda, one after the other, I think on this picture it was 10 for Uganda and 2 for Holland. Elias is very happy.....

At the end, the score was 16 - 4 for Uganda,  the two countries gave each other the hand, it was a fair play and we had a lot of fun!!
