Amecet n'ainapakin (Shelter of Peace) is a ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM)in Soroti, Uganda. We are reaching out to HIV infected and affected children. We also are caring for new born babies, who lost their mother after the delivery. The third group of children we help, are children who need a safe place, they mostly come via the police. In this blog we want to share with you our stories, our pictures, our needs and blessings!

Staff Member Care..

Today we organised a Hepatitis B blood testing. We offered them testing and if they were  negative, the immunization for Hep. B. They are three injection with an interval of a month. Today was the first day, first the test and then the injection...... Janneke gives the example...
Peace gets here the testing first, a finger prick and then the injection in the left arm.
Martha doesn't like it, but wants to see what is going on...
Emmanuel is scared, Janneke had to hold his hand..
 Elias is not scared...
Leya is taking it, it has to be done!
Also the people in the kitchen, the garden, everybody took our offer... Mary was very brave.
It will create a safer environment for the children and also for our selves. We do care for our staff, after the injection we  all got chocolate!!!
